It’s hard to know the exact qualifications and requirements you need to hold a voter registration drive. Who is eligible to register? Are there any people barred from registering? Well, we’re here to help! Below are the exact rules listed on the Arizona Secretary of State’s website brought to you to make it easier. The link: AZSOS Registration Requirements We advise to still check this website to ensure the most up-to-date information. As of August 11th, 2023, the information listed below is accurate.
In order to register, you MUST:
Be a citizen of the U.S.
Be a resident of AZ and the county that will be on your registration card/will have been an AZ resident for the 29 days prior to the election
Be 18 years of age before the next general election (ex: 2024, 2026, 2028, etc.)
People who are not allowed to register:
Convicted felons who have not had their civil rights restored
A court of law has deemed them mentally incapacitated
Ways to check for proof of citizenship:
AZ Driver’s License/ID
Indian Census Number, Bureau of Indian Affairs Card Number, or Tribal Treaty Card Number
A photocopy of your U.S. naturalization documents
A photocopy of your birth certificate and supporting legal documentation
A photocopy of your passport
A photocopy of Tribal Certificate of Indian Blood or Bureau of Indian Affairs Affidavit of Birth

If you would like printed copies from the secretary of state's office, you can email them at elections@azsos.gov and make a request for paper voter registration forms
Once all forms are completed, you can mail it back to your county recorder's office!
